Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with security, preventing fraud, and blocking bots, EB: Fraud Filter, Bot Blocker is the clear choice. Its granular control over site access and focus on filtering malicious activity make it a valuable tool for maintaining a safe and performant online store. However, its limited number of reviews indicates it is a newer app or has a smaller user base.
On the other hand, if the goal is to expand into international markets and offer a localized shopping experience to customers worldwide, Hextom AI Translate & Currency is the superior option. Its AI-powered translation capabilities, wide language and currency support, and large user base make it a powerful tool for driving global sales. While both apps operate in the Geolocation category, they address entirely different needs for Shopify merchants.
