Our Verdict
For most merchants in 2026, EDP ‑ Easy Digital Products is the safer and more reliable choice. Its perfect rating and substantial number of positive reviews provide strong evidence of its effectiveness. While EcomLovin ‑ My Digital Product may offer potentially valuable features like multilingual email support, the lack of any user reviews makes it a significantly riskier option.
Merchants with very specific needs related to advanced email customization who are willing to take a chance on a new app might consider EcomLovin ‑ My Digital Product, but only after thorough independent testing and a careful evaluation of its suitability for their specific requirements. However, given the current data, EDP ‑ Easy Digital Products is the recommended choice for merchants seeking a proven and reliable solution for selling digital products on Shopify.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
While both apps claim ease of use, EDP ‑ Easy Digital Products' positive reviews provide stronger support for this claim. The lack of reviews for EcomLovin ‑ My Digital Product makes it impossible to objectively compare its ease of use.
Which app offers better customer support?
The provided data does not offer any information on customer support for either app. However, an app with more reviews typically indicates a company invested in customer support as negative experiences are more likely to be highlighted in reviews.
Which app is more likely to be around in the long term?
Apps with more established user bases and positive reviews are generally more likely to be supported and maintained in the long term. EDP ‑ Easy Digital Products' 175 positive reviews suggest a stronger level of user adoption and therefore a higher likelihood of long-term support.
Does EcomLovin ‑ My Digital Product's multilingual email feature make it a better choice for international businesses?
Potentially, but the absence of reviews means there's no guarantee that the feature functions effectively or reliably. EDP ‑ Easy Digital Products may also offer similar functionality or have alternative solutions for international customers. Testing EcomLovin ‑ My Digital Product thoroughly is crucial before relying on this feature for international sales.
Which app offers the best value for money?
Without pricing information, it's impossible to definitively say which app offers better value. However, considering EDP ‑ Easy Digital Products' proven track record, merchants may be more willing to pay a premium for a reliable and well-reviewed solution.
