Our Verdict
For new merchants or those prioritizing ease of use and visual richness (images, videos, 3D models) specifically for their variants, EcomLovin ‑ Variant Gallery could be a good starting point. However, the lack of reviews presents a risk. If a merchant values established trust and a larger user base, and is looking for something broader than a visual solution, OPTIS Product Options, Variant, with its significantly higher review count, would likely be the safer choice, even without knowing its feature set. If the review quantity is anything to go by, OPTIS likely offers a very robust solution. Without further details about the OPTIS app, it is difficult to recommend one app over another definitively.
A merchant should carefully consider their requirements for variant management and compare the full feature lists (not provided). Given its visual strengths and claims of ease of use, EcomLovin ‑ Variant Gallery targets merchants needing a simple setup. OPTIS may cater to those needing additional or different functionality, or for stores already using an existing workflow.
