Ecommattic: Customer Redirects vs Geolocation & Markets—Selectyfor Shopify (2026)
Ecommattic: Customer Redirects and Geolocation & Markets—Selecty both touch on redirecting customers but cater to vastly different Shopify merchant needs. Ecommattic focuses on streamlining the user experience *within* a single store by directing customers to specific pages after actions like login or registration, or based on their previous activity. In contrast, Geolocation & Markets—Selecty concentrates on international expansion, using geolocation to display the correct currency, language, and market recommendations to customers based on their location. Our Verdict
For a Shopify merchant operating solely within one country and looking to enhance the customer journey by streamlining navigation after login, registration, or other events, Ecommattic: Customer Redirects *could* be considered, *however* the lack of reviews and a zero rating is a significant red flag. Thorough testing is absolutely essential before full deployment. Geolocation & Markets—Selecty is the clear winner for merchants targeting multiple countries and wanting to leverage geolocation for market-specific experiences. Its strong rating and numerous reviews suggest a reliable and valuable solution for international expansion.
