eCommix ‑ Google Sheets Sync vs SupaEasy: AI Functions creatorfor Shopify (2026)
eCommix - Google Sheets Sync and SupaEasy: AI Functions creator address entirely different needs within Shopify operations. eCommix focuses on data management and manipulation through Google Sheets, enabling merchants to bulk edit, analyze, and report on store data such as inventory, orders, and customer information. It targets merchants who need to work extensively with their Shopify data outside the platform, offering real-time or scheduled syncing, custom data exports, and ShopifyQL support. It attempts to simplify data manipulation, but its current lack of positive reviews is a significant concern. SupaEasy, on the other hand, centers around customizing checkout functionality. It empowers merchants to generate functions for discounts, payments, delivery, and validation without coding, leveraging AI to assist in the function creation process. SupaEasy is aimed at both Shopify Plus merchants migrating from deprecated scripts and standard Shopify merchants seeking advanced checkout customizations. Its high rating and substantial number of reviews suggest a positive user experience and effective functionality, especially with the upcoming deprecation of scripts, positioning it as a key tool for checkout customization and control.

Our Verdict
For merchants who require in-depth data analysis, bulk editing capabilities, and integration with Google Sheets for reporting purposes, eCommix might seem appealing *in theory*. However, its current zero-star rating and limited number of reviews are a major red flag. Merchants should proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly investigate before committing.
SupaEasy is the clear winner for merchants who need to customize their checkout experience, especially those facing the deprecation of Shopify Scripts. Its high rating, numerous positive reviews, and AI-assisted function generation offer a powerful and accessible solution for tailoring the checkout process without requiring advanced coding skills. It is the better option unless there are specific data transfer needs with Google Sheets that cannot be fulfilled by other methods.
