EcomRise: Upsell & Bundles vs Frequently Bought Together: TCfor Shopify (2026)
EcomRise: Upsell & Bundles and Frequently Bought Together: TC both aim to increase sales through upsell and bundling strategies, but they differ significantly in their approach and scope. EcomRise positions itself as a comprehensive suite of tools designed to enhance the entire e-commerce experience, offering a wide range of features extending beyond just upsells and bundles, such as sales notifications, trust badges, and content protection. This makes it a more versatile option for merchants seeking a holistic solution to improve various aspects of their store. Frequently Bought Together: TC, on the other hand, focuses specifically on creating customizable product bundles, particularly highlighting an 'Amazon-themed' frequently bought together experience. Its strength lies in seamlessly integrating these bundles into various areas of the store (product pages, cart, checkout) and offering flexible incentives. While potentially easier to set up and use for merchants solely focused on bundling, it currently lacks the established credibility and broader functionality offered by EcomRise. The absence of reviews further impacts its trustworthiness compared to EcomRise.

Our Verdict
EcomRise: Upsell & Bundles appears to be the stronger choice for merchants looking for a comprehensive solution to enhance their store's overall performance and customer experience. Its established user base, high rating, and diverse set of features offer significant value. However, Frequently Bought Together: TC could be a better fit for merchants who specifically need a focused bundling solution with an emphasis on 'frequently bought together' offers and value ease of customization and seamless integration above all else. The lack of reviews for Frequently Bought Together: TC, however, makes it a riskier choice until there is community feedback supporting it.
Ultimately, merchants should carefully consider their specific needs and priorities when deciding between these two apps. If a broad range of e-commerce enhancements is desired, EcomRise is the safer bet. If bundling is the primary focus and a streamlined, customizable solution is preferred (once it has some proven track record), Frequently Bought Together: TC might be worth exploring once more reviews come in.
