EcomRise: Upsell & Bundles vs Packer: Mix and Match Productsfor Shopify (2026)
EcomRise: Upsell & Bundles and Packer: Mix and Match Products both aim to increase Average Order Value (AOV) through product bundling strategies, but they cater to different merchant needs. EcomRise is positioned as an all-in-one conversion rate optimization (CRO) tool with bundling as a core component. It offers a wide range of features including upsells, cross-sells, volume discounts, BOGO offers, and even non-sales features like content protection and holiday animations. Packer, on the other hand, focuses specifically on empowering customers to create their own customizable product bundles, offering a more personalized shopping experience. The key difference lies in control and breadth. EcomRise offers pre-defined bundling and upselling strategies, likely easier to set up and manage. Packer gives customers full control over their bundles, potentially increasing customer satisfaction and perceived value, but requiring more careful product selection and configuration on the merchant's side. EcomRise appears designed for merchants seeking a quick and comprehensive boost to sales using various tactics, while Packer is for merchants prioritizing customer personalization and flexibility in bundle creation.
