Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants deeply invested in the E-conomic accounting software and needing robust international tax handling, E‑conomic link by CarryTheOne appears to be the better choice, especially if they operate multiple stores. The app focuses on seamless and comprehensive integration with E-conomic, specifically designed to handle complex tax scenarios. However, the very low number of reviews is a significant risk. On the other hand, QuickBooks Desktop by Parex is more suitable for merchants already using QuickBooks Desktop or Enterprise editions and seeking a straightforward way to synchronize sales data, offering flexibility with both individual and summary sync options. The higher number of reviews suggests greater user confidence, although the depth of tax support may not be as extensive as E‑conomic link.
