Our Verdict
For merchants selling simple digital products and prioritizing ease of use and a potentially more streamlined experience, EDP ‑ Easy Digital Products, with its perfect rating, might be a good choice. However, the lack of detailed feature information makes this a riskier decision.
LDT Digital Downloads, E‑books is a stronger recommendation for merchants selling a wider range of digital products, especially those requiring secure delivery, video streaming, or personalized content. Its focus on security, format support, and features like the customized download portal provide a more robust solution for businesses with more complex digital product needs. The slightly lower rating is offset by the higher number of reviews and more comprehensive feature set. For merchants concerned about video and ebook hosting, secure PDFs, and ease of migration, LDT is clearly the superior option.
