EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift vs EZ Volume Discounts & Tiersfor Shopify (2026)
EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift and EZ Volume Discounts & Tiers both aim to increase average order value, but they approach this goal with different feature sets and target different merchant needs. EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift focuses specifically on automated free gift offers triggered by cart contents or value, offering a straightforward solution for merchants looking to incentivize purchases through simple "buy this, get that" promotions and scheduled BOGO campaigns. Its strength lies in its ease of use (described as "as easy as meditation for a monk") and its specific focus on auto-add free gifts, BOGO and Buy X Get Y offers. EZ Volume Discounts & Tiers takes a broader approach, offering product bundles, volume discounts, and free gift offers within a single application. This makes it a more comprehensive solution for merchants looking to implement diverse pricing strategies beyond just free gifts, including tiered pricing, mix-and-match bundles, and subscription models. However, the app's description suggests a focus on volume discounts, tiered pricing and product bundling as its primary function, with free gift offers being a secondary feature. The low number of reviews compared to EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift suggests it may be newer or less widely adopted.
