It boasts a significantly higher rating (5/5) and a large number of reviews (762), suggesting strong user satisfaction and effectiveness in its niche. Its strength lies in its straightforward approach to cart-based promotions and ease of use. Fantastic Markets Discounts, on the other hand, is geared towards merchants operating in multiple international markets. Our Verdict
For the vast majority of Shopify stores primarily operating within a single market and aiming to boost average order value, EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift is the clear winner. Its high rating and numerous reviews suggest a reliable and effective solution for implementing cart-based promotions. The implied ease of use is also a significant advantage.
However, if your business operates in multiple international markets and requires sophisticated, geographically targeted discount strategies, Fantastic Markets Discounts might be a viable option *despite* its low rating. Merchants considering Fantastic Markets Discounts should thoroughly investigate the app's functionality and support before committing, given the low rating and small number of reviews. Consider seeking a demo and carefully reviewing the documentation. Alternatively, exploring other international discount management apps may be a prudent choice.
