EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift vs Kaching AI Slide Cart Drawerfor Shopify (2026)
EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift and Kaching AI Slide Cart Drawer both aim to enhance the Shopify checkout experience but approach it from different angles. EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift focuses on automatically adding free gifts or products based on defined rules (BOGO, Buy X Get Y), aiming to boost Average Order Value (AOV) through incentives and upsells within the cart. It positions itself as an easy-to-use app for creating complex, scheduled promotions that reward customers based on their cart contents. Kaching AI Slide Cart Drawer, on the other hand, centers around optimizing the cart drawer itself. It uses features like urgency timers, free shipping bars, and upsell sliders within the cart drawer to encourage customers to add more items and complete their purchase. While both apps can increase AOV, EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift works primarily through promotional mechanics, whereas Kaching focuses on optimizing the cart drawer interface and creating a sense of urgency and trust.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily interested in running strategic promotions like BOGO or Buy X Get Y offers with automatically applied free gifts, EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift is the stronger choice. Its scheduling and rule-based system offers granular control over incentives. However, it doesn't seem to focus on improving the visual elements of the cart.
If the primary goal is to optimize the cart drawer's appearance and encourage purchases through urgency, trust, and frequently-bought-together suggestions, Kaching AI Slide Cart Drawer is the better fit. Its features are designed to make the cart drawer a more compelling sales tool. A merchant could conceivably use both, but it's important to consider potential overlap or conflict in functionality.
