Our Verdict
If the primary goal is to increase sales and average order value through strategic promotions like free gifts and BOGO offers, EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift is the clear choice. Its focus on incentivizing purchases directly translates to revenue growth. The high rating and large number of reviews suggest users find it effective and easy to use.
On the other hand, if streamlining the checkout process, reducing shipping costs, and improving customer satisfaction with shipping options are the main priorities, OCT Hide Shipping Methods is the better option. It provides the necessary tools to customize shipping methods based on various conditions, which can lead to a smoother checkout experience. While it has fewer reviews, the slightly lower rating still indicates a positive experience for its users. A merchant experiencing high cart abandonment rates due to shipping costs would strongly benefit from using OCT Hide Shipping Methods.
