EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift vs Payment Customization: PayMixfor Shopify (2026)
EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift and Payment Customization: PayMix address vastly different aspects of the Shopify store experience, though both impact the checkout or cart areas. EG Auto Add to Cart focuses on increasing average order value (AOV) and driving sales through promotional offers like free gifts, BOGO deals, and Buy X Get Y promotions. It targets merchants looking to incentivize purchases and improve the customer experience by automatically adding promotional items to the cart. The app's strength lies in its ease of use and clear focus on upsells. Our Verdict
EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift is the clear winner for merchants prioritizing simple, effective ways to boost sales through promotions. Its high rating and large number of reviews suggest widespread satisfaction with its features and ease of use. For merchants struggling with chargebacks or requiring highly specific control over payment method visibility based on complex criteria, Payment Customization: PayMix might be considered, but its low rating and limited reviews raise concerns about its usability and effectiveness. The large rating gap suggests a significant difference in overall merchant satisfaction and app performance, making EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift the safer choice for most users.
