EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift vs Puco Shipping Discountsfor Shopify (2026)
EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift and Puco Shipping Discounts are both 5-star rated Shopify apps targeting discounts, but they address fundamentally different aspects of the customer journey. EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift focuses on increasing Average Order Value (AOV) and driving sales through product-based incentives like free gifts, BOGO offers, and Buy X Get Y promotions. Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with boosting AOV and driving sales through product-focused incentives, EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift is the better choice. Its focus on BOGO offers, free gifts, and Buy X Get Y promotions provides a direct way to encourage larger purchases. The high number of reviews (762) suggests a mature and well-received application.
However, if the main goal is to improve conversion rates by addressing shipping cost concerns and building customer loyalty through personalized shipping offers, Puco Shipping Discounts is the more suitable option. While it has fewer reviews (20), its focus on customized shipping discounts and numerous conditions allows for a highly targeted approach to reducing cart abandonment. Businesses with high shipping costs, or those looking to provide tiered shipping discounts to different customer segments, would benefit most from Puco.
