Our Verdict
For merchants seeking granular control over cart-based promotions and want to directly define free gift triggers or BOGO offers, EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift seems like the better choice. Its emphasis on rule-based automation for cart contents provides flexibility and a structured approach to creating product-centric promotions.
However, if a merchant needs a quick solution to boost conversions through proven urgency tactics like flash sales and time-limited discounts, Quikly would be more suitable. Its smart recommendations based on store data and A/B testing features can help optimize campaigns for rapid revenue lift, even though it has much fewer reviews. The lower number of reviews for Quikly necessitates further investigation but the feature set points toward a different target customer.
