EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift vs Shopacado ‑ Volume Discountsfor Shopify (2026)
EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift and Shopacado ‑ Volume Discounts are both Shopify apps in the 'Discounts' category, but they address distinct needs. EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift focuses on incentivizing purchases through automatic free gift additions, BOGO offers, and Buy X Get Y promotions. It's designed for merchants looking to increase average order value and conversion rates by automatically adding free items or discounted products to the cart based on predefined rules. The description emphasizes ease of use and a 'super simple UI'. Shopacado ‑ Volume Discounts, on the other hand, is not described beyond its name and rating/review count, so its focus on volume discounts is assumed. Shopacado, based on its name, targets merchants who want to offer tiered pricing based on the quantity of products purchased. EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift is centered around automatically applying deals when certain conditions are met (product in cart, cart total reached), creating a different type of discount strategy. While both apps aim to boost sales, their mechanisms and target merchants are fundamentally different. One specializes in automatically adding gifts, while the other specializes in tiered pricing.
