Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a hands-off approach to incentivize purchases with automated free gifts and BOGO offers based on specific conditions, EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift is a strong contender. Its rules-based engine appears easy to configure, and the high number of positive reviews suggests reliability. Slide Carty - Upsell & Gift is a better fit for merchants wanting more control over the look and feel of their cart experience, offering more comprehensive customization and visual elements like a sticky cart and progress bar, and focus on dynamic upsell product recommendations within the cart drawer. A smaller store prioritizing visual cart appeal and dynamic recommendations might prefer Slide Carty, while a larger store needing an automated promotional rules engine would benefit more from EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift.
