Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on proactively increasing average order value and driving sales through strategic promotions like BOGO or free gifts, EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift is the superior choice. Its high rating and large number of reviews suggest strong user satisfaction. On the other hand, if a merchant's primary concern is recapturing customers who were hesitant due to price and improving conversion rates for price-sensitive products, SpurIT Discount Reminder is the better option. While it has fewer reviews, its core functionality addresses a specific pain point in the customer journey. A sophisticated merchant might even find value in using both apps to cover both proactive and reactive discount strategies.
