eID ‑ MitID Aldersbekræftelse vs NotifyMe ‑ Warnings and Labelsfor Shopify (2026)
Both eID ‑ MitID Aldersbekræftelse and NotifyMe ‑ Warnings and Labels are Shopify apps with perfect 5/5 ratings, but they serve different purposes within the 'Legal' category. eID ‑ MitID Aldersbekræftelse is specifically designed for Danish merchants selling age-restricted products like alcohol and tobacco. It uses MitID, a Danish digital identity solution, to verify customer age and ensures compliance with Danish law (specifically referencing 'lov nr 651 af 11/06/2024') regarding underage sales, potentially saving merchants from fines imposed by Sikkerhedsstyrelsen. Its core functionality revolves around strict age validation and order blocking for unverified users. NotifyMe ‑ Warnings and Labels, in contrast, is a more general-purpose app. Although we don't have explicit details of its features, the name suggests it provides warnings and labels for products. This could cover a wider range of legal requirements, such as allergen warnings, product safety labels, or regional compliance notices. It's likely targeted at a broader audience of merchants needing to display crucial information to their customers, potentially relating to safety, legal obligations, or specific product characteristics, regardless of geographic location or product type. Based on the number of reviews it seems to be a more established app.
