Elevate A/B Testing Price Test vs SpurIT Dynamic Pricingfor Shopify (2026)
Elevate A/B Testing Price Test and SpurIT Dynamic Pricing both aim to improve a Shopify merchant's pricing strategy, but they take drastically different approaches. Elevate A/B Testing Price Test positions itself as an all-in-one A/B testing platform, allowing merchants to experiment with various aspects of their store, including pricing, content, and themes, aiming for maximum revenue optimization through data-driven decisions. Its target audience appears to be larger ecommerce teams that value sophisticated testing and segmentation capabilities, and who require statistically validated insights. SpurIT Dynamic Pricing, on the other hand, offers a more streamlined solution focused specifically on automated price adjustments based on product sales volume. It's targeted towards merchants seeking a hands-off approach to pricing optimization, particularly for managing slow-moving inventory. The core difference lies in their functionality: Elevate A/B Testing Price Test helps merchants *discover* the optimal price through experimentation, while SpurIT Dynamic Pricing *reacts* to sales data by automatically adjusting prices. This difference affects the complexity of use, the amount of merchant involvement, and the level of control the merchant has over pricing decisions. Elevate offers more comprehensive features beyond just pricing, including theme and content testing, while SpurIT maintains a narrow focus on automatic price adjustments driven by sales volume. The significant difference in review count also suggests a much larger user base for Elevate A/B Testing Price Test, implying broader appeal or a longer presence in the market.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking comprehensive store optimization through rigorous testing and data analysis, Elevate A/B Testing Price Test is the superior choice. Its extensive feature set, including A/B testing for themes, content, and pricing, caters to businesses with the resources and desire to deeply understand customer behavior and maximize revenue across all aspects of their store.
However, for smaller merchants or those primarily concerned with managing inventory and automatically adjusting prices based on sales volume, SpurIT Dynamic Pricing provides a simpler and more focused solution. If the primary goal is to automatically lower prices for slow-selling products and the feature set of Elevate is overkill, SpurIT would be the more efficient option. The review count disparity should also be taken into consideration as an indicator of market trust and app stability.
Common Questions
Which app is better for increasing average order value?
Elevate A/B Testing Price Test is likely better for increasing average order value. It allows you to test different pricing strategies, bundles, and promotions to see what resonates best with your customers, leading to potentially higher average orders. SpurIT Dynamic Pricing primarily focuses on selling more units of slow-moving inventory, not necessarily increasing the value of each order.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
SpurIT Dynamic Pricing is likely easier to set up and use. Its focused functionality means fewer configuration options and a simpler interface. Elevate A/B Testing Price Test, with its broader feature set, requires more configuration and understanding of A/B testing principles.
Which app provides more detailed reporting and analytics?
Elevate A/B Testing Price Test provides more detailed reporting and analytics. It offers 100+ metrics, real-time stats, and confidence scoring to provide statistically validated insights into the performance of your experiments. SpurIT Dynamic Pricing likely provides basic sales volume data, but lacks the comprehensive analytics of Elevate.
Does Elevate A/B Testing Price Test automate pricing adjustments?
No, Elevate A/B Testing Price Test does not automatically adjust prices. It provides the data to inform pricing decisions through A/B testing, but the merchant must manually implement the winning pricing strategy. SpurIT Dynamic Pricing automates price adjustments based on pre-defined rules.
Can SpurIT Dynamic Pricing test different pricing strategies?
No, SpurIT Dynamic Pricing does not test different pricing strategies. It implements a single pricing rule based on sales volume. It lacks the A/B testing functionality of Elevate, which allows merchants to compare the performance of different pricing approaches.
