EM Lookbook ‑ Shop by Gallery vs PicManager Bulk Image Uploadfor Shopify (2026)
EM Lookbook ‑ Shop by Gallery and PicManager Bulk Image Upload, both categorized under 'Images and media' and 'Images and media - Other' on the Shopify App Store, cater to different aspects of visual merchandising. EM Lookbook focuses on creating interactive and shoppable lookbooks and galleries. Its higher rating (4.9/5) based on significantly more reviews (153) suggests a greater level of user satisfaction and potentially more widespread adoption for its core functionality. PicManager Bulk Image Upload, with a 4.5/5 rating and 18 reviews, appears to be positioned more as a utility tool for simplifying the image uploading process, particularly for merchants dealing with a large volume of product images. The key difference lies in their core purpose. EM Lookbook enables merchants to present their products in visually appealing and engaging formats like lookbooks, connecting images directly to product pages to facilitate purchase. PicManager, in contrast, streamlines the backend process of adding and managing images in bulk. The difference in the number of reviews further suggests a difference in the level of complexity and involvement merchants have with the app. EM Lookbook, due to the interactive lookbook creation, would likely require more active management and result in more feedback than PicManager, which is primarily a functional tool for image upload.
