EM Lookbook ‑ Shop by Gallery vs PreviewBuilder: Link Imagefor Shopify (2026)
EM Lookbook ‑ Shop by Gallery and PreviewBuilder: Link Image both aim to enhance visual presentation on Shopify stores, but they cater to distinct needs. EM Lookbook focuses on creating shoppable lookbooks and galleries, enabling customers to directly purchase items featured within images. Its high rating (4.9/5) and substantial review count (153) suggest a well-established and positively received application, likely offering a more comprehensive feature set for brands wanting interactive and engaging visual shopping experiences. PreviewBuilder: Link Image, with a 4.5/5 rating and only 6 reviews, appears to be a more basic solution focused primarily on linking products directly from images. Given the limited reviews, it may be newer or target a smaller, more niche segment. It is likely easier to use and less expensive, but lacks advanced gallery and lookbook features. EM Lookbook’s focus is on driving conversions through visually rich and interactive experiences, while PreviewBuilder emphasizes simplicity and ease of linking products to images.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing visually immersive shopping experiences and interactive lookbooks to showcase their products, EM Lookbook ‑ Shop by Gallery is the clear choice. Its high rating and significant user base suggest it's a robust and well-supported solution. However, for merchants who need a quick and simple solution for linking products directly from images without the need for extensive lookbook features, PreviewBuilder: Link Image might suffice, especially if budget or ease of use are primary concerns. Given the large disparity in review counts, more research into PreviewBuilder’s features and support is advisable before committing.
