EM Lookbook ‑ Shop by Gallery vs TikFeed ‑ TikTok Feedfor Shopify (2026)
EM Lookbook - Shop by Gallery and TikFeed - TikTok Feed both fall under the 'Images and media' category on Shopify, but they cater to distinct needs. EM Lookbook likely focuses on creating shoppable galleries using the merchant's own images, leveraging visual merchandising for product discovery. The high number of reviews suggests a more established app with a broader appeal, potentially for merchants seeking general visual presentation improvements. TikFeed, on the other hand, is specifically geared towards leveraging the power of TikTok for social proof and sales. Its core function is embedding and showcasing TikTok content on a Shopify store, allowing merchants to tap into the TikTok ecosystem without building their own lookbooks from scratch. TikFeed's focus on TikTok offers a unique value proposition for merchants already active or planning to be active on the platform. It streamlines the process of integrating TikTok content into the shopping experience, turning social media engagement into direct sales opportunities through shoppable videos. The app promises to enhance product pages and homepages with dynamic TikTok feeds, offering grid or slider layouts and customization options. The large disparity in reviews must be noted, but depending on a merchant's marketing strategy, the functionality offered in TikFeed may prove incredibly useful.

Our Verdict
If you're looking for a general-purpose solution to showcase products visually using your own images and require a tested app with many reviews, EM Lookbook - Shop by Gallery is the more reliable choice. The higher review count suggests a more mature and well-established application.
However, if your marketing strategy heavily relies on TikTok and you want to seamlessly integrate your TikTok content into your Shopify store to drive social proof and sales, TikFeed - TikTok Feed is the clear winner, despite having far fewer reviews. The app's specific focus on TikTok integration and shoppable videos offers a powerful tool for converting social media engagement into sales. Merchants should weigh the reliability of a mature product with more reviews versus more tailored TikTok integration and its inherent risks.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
Based on the review counts, EM Lookbook - Shop by Gallery likely has more readily available resources (tutorials, documentation) due to its larger user base. TikFeed, being newer and with fewer reviews, might have a steeper learning curve initially, although its specific functionality might be inherently simple to implement.
Which app is more suitable for a small business?
It depends on the small business's marketing strategy. If they're active on TikTok, TikFeed provides immediate value. If they prefer curated product photography and visual presentation, EM Lookbook is a better fit.
Can both apps be used together?
Potentially, but it might lead to redundancy or visual clutter. EM Lookbook creates general lookbooks while TikFeed specializes in TikTok content. Whether they complement each other depends on the merchant's specific design and marketing objectives.
Which app offers better value for money?
Value is subjective and depends on the merchant's needs. If you need TikTok integration, TikFeed offers specific value that EM Lookbook cannot provide. If you're primarily interested in overall visual merchandising, EM Lookbook might be more cost-effective depending on its pricing.
How does TikFeed compare to other social media feed apps?
TikFeed is specifically designed for TikTok, differentiating it from general social media feed apps that aggregate content from multiple platforms. This specialization allows for deeper integration with TikTok features, such as shoppable videos and direct social following.
