Enhance: VAT Dual Prices B2B vs GA: Custom Calculator + AIfor Shopify (2026)
Enhance: VAT Dual Prices B2B and GA: Custom Calculator + AI both address pricing, but cater to very different needs. Enhance focuses on clear price presentation for B2B and B2C customers by displaying VAT inclusive and exclusive prices simultaneously. It excels at managing tax rules based on various criteria and brand customization of the price display. This makes it ideal for merchants operating in VAT-regulated regions who sell to both businesses and consumers. GA: Custom Calculator + AI, on the other hand, empowers customers to calculate costs, savings, delivery fees, or service fees using customizable calculators. It is a no-code solution for adding complex pricing or estimation models to a Shopify store. This app is aimed at businesses with complex pricing structures or services where customers need to understand cost breakdowns before purchasing. The primary difference lies in their core functionality. Enhance directly displays VAT inclusive and exclusive pricing for clarity. GA: Custom Calculator + AI lets customers actively calculate costs based on customizable parameters. While both apps aim to improve clarity around pricing, Enhance focuses on transparency related to VAT, while GA: Custom Calculator + AI focuses on allowing customer-driven cost estimation. The presence of AI in the GA app is not detailed and therefore difficult to assess its impact in this comparison, beyond calculator functionality. Given that GA: Custom Calculator + AI has no reviews, this introduces more risk into its adoption by merchants.
