Enhance: VAT Dual Prices B2B vs MIT Request Quote & Hide Pricefor Shopify (2026)
Enhance: VAT Dual Prices B2B and MIT Request Quote & Hide Price are both Shopify apps related to pricing, but they address fundamentally different business needs. Enhance focuses on transparency and compliance by allowing merchants to display VAT-inclusive and VAT-exclusive prices simultaneously, catering primarily to businesses that serve both B2B and B2C customers. Its strength lies in customizability, allowing for tailored tax rules based on various criteria like customer location, product type, and customer tags. This is crucial for businesses operating in regions with complex VAT regulations. MIT Request Quote & Hide Price, conversely, is designed for businesses that don't want to display prices upfront. It enables merchants to hide prices and collect customer inquiries via a quotation form. It excels in lead generation and can be particularly useful for businesses offering highly customized products or services where pricing is dependent on specific requirements. Its capabilities include displaying custom text or links instead of prices, making it adaptable to various sales strategies. However, unlike Enhance, it lacks user reviews, making it difficult to assess its reliability and user experience. The primary difference lies in their core functionalities: Enhance displays multiple price points for clarity, while MIT Request Quote hides prices to encourage inquiries. Their target audiences differ significantly, making them suitable for entirely different business models.
