Enhance: VAT Dual Prices B2B vs Request a Quote & Hide Pricesfor Shopify (2026)
Enhance: VAT Dual Prices B2B and Request a Quote & Hide Prices cater to vastly different needs of Shopify merchants in 2026, despite both falling under the 'Pricing' category. Enhance is specifically designed for businesses selling to both B2B and B2C customers where VAT transparency is critical. It aims to provide clear pricing by displaying both VAT-inclusive and VAT-exclusive prices side-by-side, customizable based on factors like location, product, and customer tags. This app focuses on enhancing price clarity and reducing confusion for diverse customer bases. Request a Quote & Hide Prices, on the other hand, likely allows merchants to hide product prices and implement a 'request a quote' functionality. While the provided data lacks feature details, the name strongly suggests this app is targeted towards businesses selling complex or highly customizable products, or those who want to control pricing negotiations on a case-by-case basis. The significant difference in review count (39 vs 1) suggests Enhance has a more established user base and track record, though both have perfect ratings. Common Questions
Which app is better for EU VAT compliance?
Enhance: VAT Dual Prices B2B is specifically designed to address VAT compliance needs by displaying both inclusive and exclusive prices. The 'Request a Quote' app doesn't seem to address VAT directly.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, but it's unlikely a merchant would need both. Displaying dual prices alongside a quote request system might be confusing for customers. Consider your specific sales strategy and customer journey.
Which app offers more control over price display?
Enhance: VAT Dual Prices B2B offers control over the font size, color, and background color of the displayed prices, as well as the ability to add text before or after. The price hiding app likely focuses on managing the quote request process.
How do I choose between these two apps?
If you need to show both VAT inclusive and exclusive prices to customers (especially in the EU), choose Enhance. If you want to hide prices and only provide them after a customer requests a quote, investigate Request a Quote & Hide Prices (but do additional research due to the single review).
Does Enhance: VAT Dual Prices B2B support different tax rates for different countries?
Yes, according to the description, it allows you to set different tax rates based on selected countries, products, customer tags, and more.
