ES Back in Stock Notify Me! vs SeedGrow WhatsApp Chatfor Shopify (2026)
ES Back in Stock Notify Me! and SeedGrow WhatsApp Chat, while both rated 4.9/5, cater to different Shopify merchant needs despite sharing the 'Notifications' category. ES Back in Stock Notify Me! is designed for merchants aiming to recover lost sales due to out-of-stock items. It uses AI to optimize back-in-stock notifications via email and SMS, providing on-site elements like popups and customizable templates. Its strength lies in its comprehensive approach to inventory management and re-engagement, targeting merchants who want automated, data-driven solutions to stockouts. This app would be beneficial for stores with a frequent turnover of inventory, reducing the impact of short-term item unavailability. SeedGrow WhatsApp Chat, on the other hand, is not fully detailed. We can infer from the name that it likely allows merchants to implement a WhatsApp chat feature for customer service and communication directly on their Shopify store. It is suitable for merchants prioritizing instant customer support and direct engagement via WhatsApp. Its strength resides in immediacy and personalized interactions. While its exact features are unknown, the focus appears to be on customer communication rather than inventory-specific notifications. The considerably lower number of reviews compared to ES Back in Stock Notify Me! suggests it may be a newer app, have a smaller user base, or cater to a more niche audience. Therefore, while both apps enhance communication, ES Back in Stock Notify Me! tackles inventory-driven sales recovery, while SeedGrow WhatsApp Chat likely prioritizes direct customer support and engagement through WhatsApp.
