ES Background Music Player vs Launchifyfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, ES Background Music Player and Launchify, while sharing the 'Animation and Effects' category on Shopify, cater to entirely different merchant needs. ES Background Music Player focuses on enhancing the customer's on-site experience by allowing merchants to easily add and customize background music to their Shopify store. It aims to improve engagement and create a specific atmosphere for visitors through customizable audio players. On the other hand, Launchify targets merchants running frequent promotions and theme updates, offering automated theme publishing and A/B testing capabilities. Launchify is designed to streamline the process of managing promotional campaigns by automating theme changes, allowing merchants to schedule theme updates and revert to previous themes after an event. This functionality saves time and ensures promotions launch and end as planned. ES Background Music Player, however, does not offer these theme management features. Its value lies solely in improving the user experience with background audio, making it ideal for stores looking to create a more immersive and engaging browsing environment. The choice between the apps depends heavily on whether the merchant prioritizes customer engagement through audio or automated theme management for promotional activities.

Our Verdict
ES Background Music Player is best suited for merchants looking for a straightforward solution to enhance their website's atmosphere through background audio. Its customizable player allows for integration with the store's overall design and offers a simple way to engage visitors. However, given the very small sample size of reviews (only 2), any conclusion based on rating is tenuous.
Launchify, on the other hand, is a better fit for merchants who regularly run promotional campaigns and need an efficient way to manage theme updates and A/B test designs. The automation features can save significant time and ensure promotions run smoothly. The low rating (3/5) with only two reviews suggests potential issues that merchants should investigate before installation. If automation is a key need, it may be worth exploring. Overall, ES Background Music Player is for simple audio enhancement, while Launchify is for promotion-focused theme management.
