Both 'ES: Request Quote - Make Offer' and 'YouQuote: Request a Quote Form' aim to empower Shopify merchants with request-a-quote functionality, allowing customers to negotiate pricing directly on product pages. However, they differ in their social proof and specific feature sets. 'ES: Request Quote - Make Offer' emphasizes a more interactive negotiation approach with features like automated responses and customizable email notifications, targeting merchants looking for an actively engaging pricing strategy. 'YouQuote' appears to focus primarily on the fundamental quote request form, likely offering a simpler, less feature-rich experience. Our Verdict
If you're a merchant prioritizing a simple, straightforward request-a-quote form with an established (though still small) user base, 'YouQuote: Request a Quote Form' might be a suitable starting point. However, if you need more advanced features like automated offer responses, real-time tracking, and deep customization to actively manage and optimize price negotiations, 'ES: Request Quote - Make Offer' is likely the better choice.
Due to the significantly larger number of reviews, YouQuote appears to have more support, community, and usage experience, which offers some security. While 'ES: Request Quote - Make Offer' offers additional features, its lower review count suggests it may be newer or less widely adopted, therefore it should be adopted while keeping in mind that you may have to troubleshoot on your own more.
