ESC Size Charts vs QuizShop ‑ Recommender Quizfor Shopify (2026)
ESC Size Charts and QuizShop ‑ Recommender Quiz, while both falling under the 'Product display' and 'Product comparison' Shopify categories, address fundamentally different aspects of the customer journey and cater to distinct merchant needs. ESC Size Charts focuses on providing clear product sizing information to reduce returns by ensuring customers select the correct size. It achieves this through customizable size charts that can be tailored to brand aesthetics and assigned based on various product attributes. Conversely, QuizShop ‑ Recommender Quiz centers on boosting sales through personalized product recommendations delivered via interactive quizzes. It collects valuable zero-party data and integrates with marketing tools like Klaviyo to create a tailored shopping experience. The primary difference lies in their objectives: ESC Size Charts aims to improve product fit and minimize returns, while QuizShop aims to drive sales and gather customer data. ESC Size Charts is geared toward merchants selling apparel, footwear, or any product where size is a crucial factor in purchase decisions. QuizShop, on the other hand, is suited for merchants with a wide range of products where guided selling can help customers navigate options and discover items they might not otherwise consider. While ESC Size Charts emphasizes ease of size guide creation, QuizShop focuses on a no-code quiz building experience and data-driven optimization through built-in analytics.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on reducing return rates due to sizing issues, particularly those selling apparel or footwear, ESC Size Charts is the clear choice. Its robust customization options and Shopify 2.0 compatibility make it easy to integrate into existing storefronts. However, for merchants aiming to drive sales and collect customer data through a more interactive and personalized experience, QuizShop ‑ Recommender Quiz is the better option. Its no-code quiz builder and integration with marketing platforms offer a powerful solution for guided selling and customer engagement. While QuizShop has a perfect rating, its lower review count suggests it might be a newer app with less extensive real-world usage data compared to ESC Size Charts.
