ESC Size Charts vs TableFlow Specification Tablefor Shopify (2026)
ESC Size Charts and TableFlow Specification Table both enhance product displays on Shopify, but they cater to different needs. ESC Size Charts focuses specifically on size guides for apparel and similar products, aiming to reduce returns by helping customers choose the right size. Its strengths lie in its user-friendly interface for creating and customizing size charts, integration with Shopify 2.0 app blocks, and flexible assignment based on various product attributes. TableFlow Specification Table, on the other hand, is a more general-purpose tool for displaying product specifications pulled from metafields and metaobjects. It's designed for merchants with large catalogs who need to efficiently manage and display technical specifications, material information, or other detailed product attributes. While both apps aim to improve the customer experience and reduce queries, their approaches and target audiences differ significantly. ESC Size Charts is geared towards apparel, shoe, and accessory retailers who need to provide size information. TableFlow Specification Table is better suited for merchants selling products with complex specifications, such as electronics, hardware, or industrial equipment. The rating difference, though significant, must be weighed against the larger number of reviews for ESC Size Charts, which might indicate a longer market presence and broader user base. TableFlow leans into automation of data retrieval from metafields, while ESC requires chart creation for each set of products.

Our Verdict
For merchants selling apparel, shoes, or accessories, ESC Size Charts is the clear choice. Its focus on size guides, ease of use, and integration with Shopify 2.0 make it ideal for helping customers find the right fit and reducing return rates. While the rating is slightly lower than TableFlow, the significantly higher number of reviews indicates a more established app.
However, for merchants selling products with complex technical specifications, TableFlow Specification Table is the better option. Its ability to pull data from metafields and metaobjects, coupled with its features for displaying tabular data, makes it efficient for managing and presenting detailed product information to customers. The 5-star rating suggests high satisfaction among its user base, albeit from a smaller sample size. If you have properly configured your metafields with accurate data, TableFlow will likely be a much more scalable solution.
