Our Verdict
Essential AB Test ‑ Split Test is suitable for merchants actively looking to optimize their store's design and layout for higher conversion rates, especially those without coding skills. It is a proactive CRO tool. Redirect Hero ‑ Fix 404 links, on the other hand, is ideal for merchants concerned about site health, SEO, and user experience. It's a more reactive tool, addressing problems as they arise. While both contribute to site optimization, their purposes are distinct; a merchant would choose based on whether they are actively trying to *improve* conversion, or simply *maintain* a good user experience through preventing broken links.
