Our Verdict
The choice between Essential Announcement Bar and Free Shipping Bear depends heavily on the merchant's specific goals. If the primary objective is to broadly promote sales, discounts, or important updates across the store with diverse banner types, then Essential Announcement Bar is the superior choice. Its high rating and large number of reviews suggest widespread user satisfaction. However, if the main goal is to increase the average order value by leveraging free shipping, then Free Shipping Bear is the better fit. The focus on cart progress tracking directly addresses this objective. While it has fewer reviews, its specialized functionality can be very effective for the right business model. For merchants already offering free shipping, Free Shipping Bear is almost certainly a worthwhile investment.
