Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on improving their existing website's look and feel, and showcasing products through engaging visual content like lookbooks and shoppable videos, Essential Grid Gallery is the better choice. It provides a wide array of gallery templates and customization options to create visually appealing experiences within the familiar web environment. However, if a merchant wants to establish a strong mobile presence with a dedicated iOS and Android app, leveraging features like push notifications and live selling, then Mobile App Builder ‑ Apptile is the more suitable option, especially given its AI-powered app creation process, despite the potential for higher maintenance costs. A merchant confident in AI app generation should consider Apptile first.
