Essential Trust Badges & Icons vs EZ Add Custom Fontfor Shopify (2026)
Essential Trust Badges & Icons and EZ Add Custom Font are both Shopify apps aiming to enhance a store's design, but they cater to fundamentally different needs. Essential Trust Badges & Icons focuses on building customer trust and boosting conversions by providing a library of icons, banners, and badges related to guarantees, security, and promotions. Its key strength lies in its comprehensive features for showcasing trust signals, customizable design elements, and flexible placement options. EZ Add Custom Font, on the other hand, is a niche app dedicated solely to adding custom fonts to a Shopify store's theme, enabling greater control over typography and brand identity. While both apps boast perfect 5/5 ratings, Essential Trust Badges & Icons has a significantly larger user base, evidenced by its 554 reviews compared to EZ Add Custom Font's 3 reviews. This suggests broader applicability and potentially more widespread adoption of the trust badges and icons approach. EZ Add Custom Font may appeal to merchants with very specific branding requirements related to font selection, however, the lower number of reviews indicates a smaller user base, possibly due to the specific need it addresses. Essential Trust Badges offers features like customizable product labels, sale badges, discount badges and the ability to upload unique guarantee icons which EZ Add Custom Font does not offer.
