Our Verdict
Essential Trust Badges & Icons is a stronger choice for merchants primarily focused on building trust and improving conversion rates on their product pages. Its high rating and numerous reviews suggest a positive user experience and effective functionality in creating visual trust cues. Merchants looking to increase social media visibility and drive organic traffic through social sharing might consider ShareThis Share Buttons, but should carefully consider the significantly lower rating and small number of reviews. Further investigation into user reviews and support responsiveness for ShareThis Share Buttons is recommended before making a decision. If a merchant has a very low budget, ShareThis might be worth experimenting with since it addresses a different aspect of the marketing funnel and the low rating could be related to its limited feature set rather than bugs.
