Essential Upsell & Cross Sell vs LV Size Charts, Product Badgesfor Shopify (2026)
Essential Upsell & Cross Sell and LV Size Charts, Product Badges are both Shopify apps aimed at improving conversion rates, but they approach the problem from vastly different angles. Essential Upsell & Cross Sell focuses primarily on increasing Average Order Value (AOV) through strategic upsells and cross-sells at various points in the customer journey, from product pages to the cart and even post-purchase. Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on maximizing immediate revenue through upselling and cross-selling, Essential Upsell & Cross Sell is the better choice. Its robust features and high rating (backed by a large number of reviews) suggest a proven track record of increasing AOV. This app is especially valuable for stores with a wide range of complementary products or those seeking to promote higher-margin items.
However, if the priority is building long-term customer trust, minimizing returns, and ensuring GDPR compliance, particularly for businesses in the apparel or fashion industries where sizing is critical, LV Size Charts, Product Badges is the more suitable option. While it has fewer reviews, its focus on reducing returns and improving customer confidence provides a different but valuable approach to improving overall business performance.
