Our Verdict
Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter is the stronger recommendation for most merchants in 2026. The significantly higher rating and large number of reviews suggest a reliable and effective app. If the primary goal is to increase conversion rates by leveraging urgency and scarcity, Hey!Scarcity's feature set directly addresses that need. However, ESSY Recently Viewed Products might be a suitable alternative for stores with a strong focus on improving user experience and providing a personalized browsing experience, especially if a seamless design integration is a top priority and the merchant is willing to experiment with a relatively new app. Given its 0 reviews, though, ESSY carries higher risk. Consider Hey!Scarcity for immediate impact or ESSY for long-term user experience enhancements after it garners positive reviews.
