Our Verdict
Recurpay is the clear winner for merchants seeking to implement or optimize a subscription-based business model. Its high rating, numerous reviews, extensive features, and 24/7 support indicate a mature and well-regarded product. ESTS Delete Customer Account, given its extremely low rating and single review, is a risky choice. While the idea of providing customers with self-deletion capabilities might be appealing for some merchants focused on data privacy and user autonomy, the lack of positive feedback suggests significant issues or missing features. Merchants considering ESTS should proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly investigate its functionality before deployment.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
Based on the descriptions, Recurpay appears to offer a quick and easy setup. While ESTS claims an 'easy deletion process', the lack of reviews makes it impossible to verify the actual user experience.
Which app is more likely to increase customer lifetime value?
Recurpay, with its focus on subscription management, is designed to increase customer lifetime value by fostering recurring revenue streams. ESTS might indirectly improve customer loyalty through enhanced data control, but its primary function is not directly related to increasing lifetime value.
Which app offers better customer support?
Recurpay offers 24/7 live human support, a significant advantage. ESTS only mentions automated notifications to admins.
Can both apps be used together?
Theoretically, yes. One handles subscription services and the other offers an account deletion tool. However, the value proposition of ESTS is weak given native account deletion capability in Shopify Admin.
Which app has a better chance of being updated and maintained in the future?
Given Recurpay's high rating and large number of reviews, it is more likely to be actively maintained and updated. ESTS Delete Customer Account's low rating and few reviews suggest the app may be abandoned.
