ESTS Shipping Insurance vs OrderProtectfor Shopify (2026)
ESTS Shipping Insurance and OrderProtect both aim to provide value regarding order protection, but approach the problem from fundamentally different angles. ESTS positions itself as a shipping insurance app aimed at instilling customer confidence and safeguarding shipments, promising seamless Shopify integration and transparent coverage costs. In contrast, OrderProtect focuses on generating additional revenue for store owners by offering customers the *option* to pay for order protection, with store owners keeping the additional revenue rather than relying on a third-party insurance provider. This difference in approach suggests targeting merchants with varying priorities.

Our Verdict
OrderProtect seems the better choice for store owners focused on boosting revenue and maintaining control over their own customer service related to order protection. The app’s high rating (5/5) and positive reviews suggest a smooth user experience and satisfied merchants. ESTS Shipping Insurance, while promising, lacks any reviews, making it difficult to assess its reliability or ease of use. If a merchant's priority is simply revenue generation coupled with some order protection, OrderProtect is the clear frontrunner. ESTS *might* be suitable if a merchant specifically wants formal shipping insurance and is willing to take a risk on an unreviewed app, but more information and user reviews are needed to validate its claims.
