Our Verdict
For merchants specifically targeting cart abandonment and needing granular control over cart behavior after the timer expires (e.g., clearing the cart or extending the timer), ET Countdown Cart Timer is the better choice. Its focus on cart-specific urgency makes it ideal for flash sales and abandoned cart recovery. Merchants looking for a broader promotional countdown timer solution, placed in a Timer Bar, and not specifically targeting cart abandonment, may find TicTac ‑ Countdown Timer bar a better starting point, however the absence of detailed features makes a stronger recommendation difficult. The larger number of reviews for TicTac might indicate a more stable or widely adopted app, but the lower rating and unknown features make a definitive decision require further research.
