Our Verdict
For merchants seeking granular control over payment methods based on a wide range of factors like location, cart value, or product attributes, ETP Sort Hide Payment Methods appears to be the more robust option, supported by a significantly larger user base. Its ability to implement conditional logic without code makes it accessible to a broader range of users. However, for businesses specifically targeting B2B or DTC customers and needing a streamlined solution for customizing payment options based on customer type, Shopy Payment Rules presents a simpler, more focused approach. The ability to insert missing payment methods could be a key differentiator for some merchants.
Ultimately, the best choice depends on the specific needs and complexity of the business. If a merchant needs detailed, rules-based control over various factors, ETP Sort Hide Payment Methods is likely the better option. If they are primarily focused on B2B/DTC customization with an easy setup process, Shopy Payment Rules is more appropriate.
