Etsy Integration ‑ DPL vs Synkro: Inventory Syncfor Shopify (2026)
Etsy Integration - DPL and Synkro: Inventory Sync serve distinct purposes despite both addressing inventory management. DPL focuses on bridging the gap between Shopify and Etsy, providing granular control over product listings, order management, and inventory synchronization between the two platforms. Its strength lies in its comprehensive feature set tailored for merchants actively selling on both Shopify and Etsy and needing specific controls to maintain consistency and accuracy across both platforms, including VAT handling and SEO title preservation. DPL's features cater to high-volume merchants, and its target audience is larger due to it being used by both low and high volume merchants. Synkro, on the other hand, focuses on multi-store inventory synchronization *within* the Shopify ecosystem. Its core value proposition is effortless, real-time synchronization of products, inventory, and orders across multiple Shopify stores. It's ideal for merchants managing multiple Shopify stores with a need to streamline operations. Synkro's price rule engine adds another layer of sophistication, allowing for automated price adjustments across the stores. Though having a higher rating, the small amount of reviews implies the app caters to a niche audience.

Our Verdict
If your business focuses on leveraging Etsy as a sales channel *in addition to* your Shopify store, then Etsy Integration - DPL is the clear choice. Its comprehensive features provide the necessary tools to manage product listings, inventory, and orders across both platforms while retaining necessary SEO features in Etsy. The 24/7 support is also a strong plus for users of the app.
For merchants managing *multiple Shopify stores* and looking for a solution to streamline operations, Synkro is a compelling option. The real-time syncing and automated price rules can significantly reduce manual effort and improve efficiency. While Synkro has a perfect rating, its lower number of reviews indicates a smaller user base, so consider your specific needs and requirements carefully when making a decision. Note that Synkro is not designed to connect to Etsy.
