Etsy Reviews ‑ FSL vs Review Collect by Scalyfor Shopify (2026)
Etsy Reviews ‑ FSL and Review Collect by Scaly both boast a perfect 5/5 rating, but cater to different segments of Shopify merchants. Etsy Reviews ‑ FSL focuses on leveraging existing positive reviews from an Etsy store to build trust and drive sales on a Shopify store. Its core strength lies in its ability to automatically import and display Etsy reviews through customizable widgets. In contrast, Review Collect by Scaly, based on the provided data (lacking details), appears to be a more general product review app, useful for collecting and displaying reviews directly from Shopify customers, signified by the number of reviews (79) suggesting it's been adopted by a wider customer base. The primary difference lies in the source of reviews. Etsy Reviews ‑ FSL is tailored for merchants who already have a successful presence on Etsy and want to leverage that existing social proof. Review Collect by Scaly (based on limited information) likely focuses on acquiring new reviews from Shopify customers. Both aim to enhance conversion rates using social proof, but they achieve this through distinct mechanisms – one importing existing reviews, the other generating new reviews on the Shopify platform.

Our Verdict
If you're a Shopify merchant who also sells on Etsy and has a good reputation there, Etsy Reviews ‑ FSL is the clear choice. It allows you to seamlessly transfer your existing social proof to your Shopify store, potentially boosting conversions with minimal effort. The focus on customizable widgets to match your branding is also a strong selling point.
However, if you primarily sell on Shopify or are just starting out and don't have an established Etsy presence, Review Collect by Scaly (assuming it functions as a standard review collection app), is likely the better option. Its larger user base suggests wider adoption and potentially more established functionality for gathering reviews directly from your Shopify customers. Without more details on Scaly, this remains an educated guess based on available information. More merchant reviews on Scaly suggests its effectiveness.
