EUVAT.app – B2B Reverse Tax vs Report Toaster: Custom Reportsfor Shopify (2026)
EUVAT.app and Report Toaster serve entirely different needs within the Shopify ecosystem, despite sharing the 'Finances' category. EUVAT.app is a niche tool focused solely on automating VAT compliance for EU B2B transactions. Its core value proposition is simplifying and automating reverse-charge VAT, VIES validation, and tax exemptions for eligible business customers. In contrast, Report Toaster is a broad reporting and analytics solution for Shopify merchants seeking deeper insights into their store's performance. It allows merchants to create custom reports, automate report delivery, and share data with team members. EUVAT.app caters specifically to merchants selling to businesses within the EU, particularly those dealing with varying VAT rates and the complexities of reverse-charge mechanisms. Its strength lies in automating a complex, compliance-driven task. Report Toaster, on the other hand, addresses the universal need for data-driven decision-making. Its extensive reporting features and real-time data access empower merchants to monitor sales trends, manage inventory effectively, and optimize their overall business strategy.
