EX Show Variants on Collection vs Jedi Product & Collection Sortfor Shopify (2026)
EX Show Variants on Collection and Jedi Product & Collection Sort both address product display on Shopify collections, but they target fundamentally different needs. EX Show Variants on Collection, judging by its name, likely focuses on a single, specific feature: displaying product variants directly on collection pages. This caters to merchants seeking to streamline the shopping experience by reducing clicks and allowing customers to quickly find the desired size, color, or other variant. Jedi Product & Collection Sort, on the other hand, takes a broader approach, offering dynamic sorting capabilities powered by AI, metafields, and other configurable rules. Jedi Product & Collection Sort positions itself as a comprehensive collection management tool, boasting features such as A/B testing, automatic promotion of on-sale products, and collection performance analytics. Its target audience appears to be merchants with larger catalogs or those who prioritize strategic product placement and data-driven decision-making. The 'Nested sort' and 'Products group' features suggest a level of complexity absent from EX Show Variants on Collection's description, indicating a more advanced user base. The significantly higher review count for EX Show Variants on Collection suggests it might be an older app, or perhaps simply more popular due to its straightforward functionality.
