Our Verdict
For merchants solely focused on making product variants easily visible on collection pages and preferring a straightforward solution, EX Show Variants on Collection is likely the better choice. Its higher number of reviews suggests a more mature app with a potentially larger user base and wider range of testing in real-world scenarios.
However, if the primary goal is to create visually stunning, high-converting collection pages with advanced features like AI-powered sorting, custom content embedding, and detailed analytics, then Supergrid Collections ‑ Depict is the superior option. Despite having fewer reviews, its feature set caters to merchants prioritizing visual merchandising and a robust set of tools to optimize the collection page experience, even if it means a potentially steeper learning curve.
