Extend B2B Buying vs FFOrder Dropshippingfor Shopify (2026)
Extend B2B Buying and FFOrder Dropshipping cater to vastly different needs within the wholesale category on Shopify. Extend B2B Buying focuses on improving the *front-end* buying experience for B2B customers, offering features like CSV ordering, product tables, and variant tables, enhancing bulk purchases directly on the store. It caters to merchants who already have a supply chain and want to simplify the B2B ordering process. FFOrder Dropshipping, on the other hand, addresses the *back-end* supply chain challenges for sellers, particularly those interested in dropshipping, fulfillment, and brand growth. They act as a dedicated supply chain partner, providing access to factories, branding options, and global fulfillment capabilities. The key difference lies in their approach: Extend B2B Buying enhances the direct customer-facing aspects of B2B wholesale, while FFOrder Dropshipping streamlines the fulfillment and sourcing of products. Extend B2B Buying leverages features like metafield integration and custom CSS styling to optimize the user experience for bulk buyers. FFOrder Dropshipping prioritizes operational stability and scalability, particularly for sellers dealing with high order volumes and SKUs. The ideal choice depends heavily on whether the merchant's primary concern is improving the buying experience or optimizing the supply chain and fulfillment process.

Our Verdict
For established businesses needing a better B2B customer experience, particularly with bulk ordering, Extend B2B Buying is likely the better choice. It allows merchants to customize the storefront to support bulk buying with features like variant tables and CSV uploads. However, given the low review count, thorough testing and exploration is highly recommended before committing to a long-term strategy.
Conversely, for sellers new to dropshipping, rapidly scaling, or seeking to outsource their supply chain and fulfillment operations, FFOrder Dropshipping offers a more comprehensive solution. The high rating and review count suggest greater satisfaction among its user base. The access to factories, branding options, and global fulfillment network make it suitable for those prioritizing operational stability and growth over front-end B2B ordering features.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to integrate into an existing Shopify store?
FFOrder Dropshipping is designed for integration without requiring significant workflow rebuilds, which may make it easier for some merchants to integrate. Extend B2B Buying might require more customization, especially with CSS styling, potentially making integration more complex depending on the merchant's existing setup.
Which app is more suitable for a Shopify Plus merchant?
Extend B2B Buying specifically mentions working with Shopify Plus and offers support from a Shopify Plus Partner, suggesting it may have features and support better tailored for Shopify Plus merchants, particularly those with complex B2B needs.
What if I need both improved B2B buying experience *and* dropshipping capabilities?
Consider using both apps in conjunction. Use Extend B2B Buying for the front-end B2B experience and FFOrder Dropshipping for back-end fulfillment. However, carefully assess the integration points and potential conflicts to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Which app is better for international expansion?
FFOrder Dropshipping is better suited for international expansion due to its global fulfillment network spanning the US, EU, Brazil, and Southeast Asia.
Which app is a better value for money?
This depends entirely on your needs and pricing models (which are not provided). Extend B2B Buying might be cheaper if you only need front-end B2B enhancements. FFOrder Dropshipping's value will be determined by the pricing of its fulfillment services, access to factories, and account management support. You'll need to compare pricing from both apps based on your expected order volume and fulfillment needs.
