Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with improving user engagement and guiding customers to specific pages after login or registration, Extendons Redirect After Login is the better choice. Its focus on custom redirects and personalized navigation addresses a specific user experience need. However, for merchants who prioritize improving their store's search engine visibility, performing keyword research, and optimizing meta descriptions for SEO, FavSEO ‑ SEO & Page Speed is the superior option. It offers a more comprehensive suite of tools dedicated to SEO optimization. Both apps have 5-star ratings, but FavSEO has significantly more reviews, which might indicate broader adoption and reliability.
Common Questions
Which app is better for improving my store's ranking on Google?
FavSEO ‑ SEO & Page Speed is specifically designed to improve your store's search engine ranking through keyword research, meta data optimization, and sitemap submission. Extendons Redirect After Login may indirectly improve SEO by enhancing user experience, but it's not its primary function.
Which app is better for reducing bounce rate?
Extendons Redirect After Login could potentially reduce bounce rate by guiding users to relevant pages after login, rather than dropping them on a generic 'My Account' page. FavSEO improves page speed which can also help lower bounce rate.
Do I need both apps?
It depends on your priorities. If you need both improved user experience after login *and* robust SEO optimization, then using both apps could be beneficial. If you only need one of these features, choose the corresponding app.
Is Extendons Redirect After Login a replacement for a full SEO app?
No. Extendons Redirect After Login addresses a specific user experience issue related to login/logout flows. It is not a replacement for a comprehensive SEO app like FavSEO, which provides tools for keyword research, rank tracking, and meta data optimization.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on the descriptions, Extendons Redirect After Login is likely easier to set up and use due to its focus on a smaller set of features (redirect rules). FavSEO, with its broader range of SEO tools, may require more technical knowledge and time to fully utilize.
